This fit the bill. It arrived quickly and looked great. I had checked the rating and though limited...very good. Not so much. I took the toaster out of the box, plugged it in, pushed the lever down. One lever fell off and the other one would not go down. After repeated attempts, it was clear that this was not going to work. Back in the box and back to Amazon. I have now placed an order for the Cuisinart. Seoond piece of bread went in at level 10...over four minutes......one side burnt and the other side slightly brown on the bottom half. Third slice set at eight......about four minutes....one side just right.......half the other side. I put it back in the box and called to return it. If you want a great toaster....get the cuisinart 4 slice wide slot tandem toaster, model TAN-4. Great toast, consistent results, and very very fast. About two minutes each time. No need to put the toast in twice and wait for eight minutes........ |
